The Punjab Government has announced an opportunity for individuals to serve as School Teacher Interns (STIs) under the School Education Department. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of education in Punjab by addressing teacher shortages through temporary placements.
Key Details of the STI Jobs 2025
Program Title: School Teacher Interns (STIs)
Duration: The internships will run from 1st February 2025 to 31st May 2025.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 to 45 years of age.
Monthly Stipend:
Higher Secondary: PKR 45,000
Secondary: PKR 40,000
Elementary: PKR 38,000
Educational Requirements:
For Higher Secondary: MA/MSc or equivalent qualifications
For Secondary: BA/BSc or equivalent qualifications
For Elementary: FA/FSc or equivalent qualifications
Application Procedure
Applications can be submitted from 22nd January 2025 to 24th January 2025 via the official STI portal at schools.punjab.gov.pk.
The final merit list will be displayed on 25th January 2025 at 10:00 AM.
Objections or corrections can be submitted until 29th January 2025, with the final merit list to be published on 30th January 2025 at 5:00 PM.
Selected candidates will be notified and required to join by 31st January 2025.
Terms and Conditions
The selected candidates will be placed temporarily and will not receive any TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance).
The STI program is a temporary solution for addressing teacher shortages and does not guarantee permanent employment.
