Job responsibilities and duties:
As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:
- Conduct routine inspections of all regulated establishments and activities in accordance with Council policy objectives.
- It may be necessary to issue penalty infringement letters, commence legal procedures, and have Council evidence presented on its behalf in court to achieve the desired compliance outcome.
- Provide prompt responses to customer requests relating to public and environmental health and preservation.
- Participate in relevant Council programs by undertaking monitoring or surveillance to ensure adherence to guidelines.
